"Many diseases can be cured if detected early," she stated. The professor highlighted that early detection through routine screenings dramatically increases the chances of successful treatment. Basara emphasized the need for women to undergo regular breast cancer screenings and for men to have routine prostate cancer checks. She also stressed the role of the national health system in providing accessible and organized screening programs. "It shouldn't be a private matter; the health system needs to offer these services," she explained.
