Ukraine: Combat Medic Detained, Phone Confiscated at TDC Checkpoint

Chernivtsi Oblast, Ukraine: A combat medic with a legal deferment from mobilization was recently subjected to an incident at a Territorial Defense Center (TDC) checkpoint. According to the report by Блог Разумовського, editor-in-chief of the IA "Koruptsiya Info," the medic had his phone confiscated and was detained without food. The TDC employee involved in the incident is also missing. "They took his phone, saying they needed it for the investigation," Razumovskogo stated. The medic was subsequently released, yet the incident raises concerns about the treatment of individuals with deferments. This event highlights the need for greater accountability and transparency within the TDC system.
