Bolivia's Fuel Supply Boosted by 252 Million Liter Delivery
Bolivia to Receive 80 Million Liters of Fuel This Week Bolivia is set to receive a major boost to its fuel supply this week. In addition to 172 million liters of fuel awaiting unloading in the port of Arica, Chile, an additional 80 million liters of diesel and gasoline will be transported overland into Bolivia. This was announced by Joel Callaú, the general manager of YPFB Logistics. "Besides the 172 million liters of fuel waiting to be discharged in the port of Arica, Chile, this week 80 million liters will enter Bolivia by land," Callaú stated in a recent video released by Bolivia TV. The combined total of 252 million liters represents a substantial increase in the country's fuel reserves. This significant fuel delivery is crucial for meeting Bolivia's energy demands and ensuring the smooth functioning of various sectors. The additional overland transport route demonstrates Bolivia's efforts to diversify its fuel supply channels and mitigate potential disruptions.
