The messages accused these officials of collaborating with armed terrorist groups (GAT). Following complaints filed with the Tenkodogo Central Police Station, an investigation was launched. The suspect, after initially denying involvement, confessed to creating and sharing some of the defamatory audio recordings within WhatsApp groups. Two mobile phones were seized as evidence. "The suspect's confession and the evidence obtained are crucial steps in this investigation," stated a police spokesperson. "We encourage citizens to continue reporting suspicious behavior through our dedicated hotlines." The National Police expressed gratitude for public cooperation and urged citizens to report suspicious behavior via hotlines 16, 17, and 1010.
