Human Remains Unearthed at Former Gustavo Cerati Home in Buenos Aires A construction site in Buenos Aires' Coghlan neighborhood has yielded an unexpected discovery: human remains unearthed during excavation work. The property, once home to renowned Argentinian musician Gustavo Cerati, is now the focus of a police investigation. According to preliminary reports, the bones, along with other objects, were found buried on the site. Forensic anthropologists are currently analyzing the remains to determine the age and identity of the deceased. The National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office, under the direction of Prosecutor Martín López Perrando, is overseeing the investigation. Marina Olmi, a visual artist and sister of actor Boy Olmi, who rented the property from Cerati between 2001 and 2003, shared historical details about the site. She revealed that the house was previously a geriatric home and, centuries ago, a chapel and stable. This adds a layer of intrigue to the discovery, raising questions about the remains' origins and the property's long history. "The history of this house is as fascinating as it is unsettling," Olmi stated in a recent interview. The police are currently working to determine the age and identity of the remains, and the investigation is ongoing. The discovery highlights the unexpected historical secrets that can be unearthed even in the heart of a bustling city.
