Football Star Accused of Assault by Mistress: Police Report Filed

A scandal has erupted in Romania involving Cristian Bardu, a former star midfielder for FC Farul. His 33-year-old mistress, Susana Popa, has accused him of assault during a recent trip to Greece. Popa claims Bardu attacked her in a hotel room and has filed a police report, providing photos of her injuries as evidence. "He aggressively attacked me," Popa stated in an interview. Bardu, however, denies the accusations, stating that the entire incident was orchestrated by Popa to gain something from him. "She staged the whole thing," Bardu insists. The case is currently under investigation.
