Diddy Trial: Shocking Testimony from Two Women Corroborates Cassie Ventura's Claims
Sean "Diddy" Combs' trial took another turn with testimony from two women who claimed to have witnessed the assault of Cassie Ventura. One witness, Dawn Richard, testified to seeing Combs' violence toward Ventura and stated that Combs threatened her and a bandmate. Richard's attorney, Arick Fudali, commented that it's not surprising to hear such testimony in the context of Richard's attempt to re-enter the entertainment industry. The defense, however, pointed out inconsistencies in Richard's testimony and questioned her recent attempts to contact Combs for work. Adding to the accusations, Ventura's former best friend, Kerry Morgan, testified to witnessing Combs physically abuse Ventura twice, with one incident in 2018 resulting in a concussion. Morgan also revealed that Ventura had offered her $30,000 from Combs in exchange for signing a non-disclosure agreement. Combs denies all allegations. The trial continues, with the testimony of Ventura's mother and a former chef for Combs still anticipated.
