Santo Domingo Oeste to Get New Judicial City Next Year Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic, will soon boast a modern judicial city, a project nearing completion. The Ministry of Housing and Buildings is spearheading this initiative, aiming to deliver the facility by next year. The project is already 50% finished, according to the report by CDN. "The new judicial city will provide much-needed space and resources to improve judicial services in the area," stated Carlos Bonilla, Minister of Housing and Buildings. The new complex will cover over 25,158 square meters and include 11 courtrooms, ample parking, a pretrial jail, and offices for judges and staff. This project is built on land provided by the Metropolitan Office of Bus Services, located on Avenida 27 de Febrero. The overall cost of the project is RD$1,852 million. The new facility will be a significant upgrade from the current outdated space, providing a modern and efficient environment for the judicial system in Santo Domingo Oeste.
