A well-known cattle rancher from Cotuí, in the Sánchez Ramírez province of the Dominican Republic, has mysteriously disappeared. His family is desperately seeking help from authorities to locate him. The rancher, Cristino Valdez, was last seen on Monday, May 19th, 2025, at 8:00 AM, leaving his home for Monte Plata. His son, Cristian, in an interview with CDN, stated that his father was going to Monte Plata to conduct business involving the purchase of cattle. Cristian confirmed his father was carrying a significant amount of cash. While the family doesn't have additional details about his transactions, they are cooperating fully with the authorities. The police in Cotuí are currently investigating and providing support to the family. Cristian expressed gratitude for the assistance and hopes for a swift resolution, stating, "We are grateful for the support, and we trust that the investigation will lead to justice."
