Man Found Dead in Pedro Brand: Police Investigate Homicide

A body of a 27-year-old man, Miguel Ángel Benítez Mota, was discovered in the bushes of Pedro Brand, Dominican Republic. The police are investigating the crime. According to the authorities, the victim was murdered by unknown individuals. The body was found near a river, on the border of Pedro Brand and Villa Altagracia. The police are increasing patrols in the area. "The investigation is being carried out meticulously," stated a police spokesperson. The body has been sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences for examination. The case is being led by Colonel Félix Baloy Peralta Castillo and Lieutenant Colonel Oscar Mesa Deoleo.
