Moldova's 2025 Gymnasium Exams Begin: 32,000 Students Participate CHISINAU, Moldova – The 2025 gymnasium graduation exams commenced in Moldova on June 2nd, marking the start of a crucial period for over 32,000 students across the country. The exams, spanning from June 2nd to 12th, involve students from more than 1,000 educational institutions. The first exam, focusing on Romanian and Universal History, took place on June 2nd, followed by Mathematics on June 5th. Additional exams are scheduled throughout June. Minister of Education and Research, Dan Perciun, expressed his support, stating, "We wish all graduates success in this important period. Although it won't be easy, I'm confident that everyone's efforts will be appropriately rewarded." President Maia Sandu also offered words of encouragement, saying, "Dear graduates, this is a time filled with emotions. I wish you much success and focus during the exams. Your hard work will pay off – just believe in yourselves." The Ministry of Education clarified that the exam period will conclude on June 12th with the Romanian Language and Literature exam. Furthermore, 31 high-achieving students will automatically receive a perfect score (10) based on their performance in the Republican Olympiads. The Ministry emphasized the fairness and objectivity of the evaluation process. Final results will be posted on June 24th.
