Moldova Hosts Fruit Day 2025 Exhibition Showcasing Technological Advancements The seventh edition of the annual Fruit Day exhibition, held in Moldova on June 10, 2025, drew over 450 visitors and showcased innovative technologies in horticulture. The event, organized by the Moldova Fruct Association, featured over 70 professionals from Ukraine and Romania alongside Moldovan experts and private sector representatives. The focus was on modern technology and innovation. Zinaida Plămădeală, export manager at a participating company, highlighted the importance of the event for networking and sharing expertise: "It's designed for meetings and exchanging experiences with other producers and suppliers." Vasile Şarban, State Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, emphasized the event's role in supporting growers: "This is an excellent platform where agricultural producers can better organize their post-harvest activities." He specifically noted the importance of certification and phytosanitary products. The exhibition featured exhibitors from Moldova, the USA, Israel, France, Italy, Poland, Greece, Germany, and Romania, showcasing advanced technologies in irrigation, sorting, packaging, storage, digitalization, and logistics. The event's success underscores Moldova's commitment to modernizing its fruit industry.
