La famosa 'influencer', Claudia Pérez, reacciona al ver el primer pago de su piso en Shenzhen
Shenzhen, China – A Spanish resident, known as Clau, living in Shenzhen, China, has voiced concerns over unexpectedly high utility and management fees for her apartment. In a recent video, Clau detailed receiving a bill totaling 5666 RMB (approximately 719€) for the months of May, June, and July 2024. This came as a surprise, as she and her roommate had paid a 1000 RMB deposit upon moving into their high-rise apartment in May and had not received previous invoices for these services. Clau highlighted specific charges, including a substantial amount for air conditioning, and expressed confusion over the accumulation of fees. She questioned whether such high costs are typical for residents in China or if she and her roommate were being unfairly charged. The residents were reportedly given a two-day deadline to settle the bill, with a warning that services would be disconnected if payment was not received. Clau is seeking input from other foreign residents in China to understand if this billing practice is standard or an anomaly.
