According to eyewitness accounts, a Toyota Yaris taxi (GW 5994-24), traveling from Sekondi, collided with another taxi (CR 1079-21) attempting to merge onto the main road. An eyewitness stated, "The driver of the second taxi couldn't see because of a trotro blocking his view." The impact caused the second taxi to overturn into a nearby storm drain.
