California Woman Feels Scammed by DoorDash on Mother’s Day, "I Came With Receipts"
TikTok user cowsmad shares her experience using DoorDash in California, after taking advantage of a Mother's Day promotion.
DoorDash Mother's Day Promotion Leaves Customers Out of Pocket and Frustrated On Mother's Day, many customers who used DoorDash to purchase gifts from participating retailers, such as Ulta Beauty, encountered problems with a promised $75 discount. The promotion, heavily advertised on the DoorDash app, failed to apply the discount for numerous users. One affected customer, Mina, described her experience: "I ordered flowers and items from Ulta, expecting the discount, but was charged the full amount. I spent over an hour on chat and phone support with DoorDash, but got nowhere." Mina's case is not isolated. Multiple Reddit threads document similar issues, with customers reporting the same problem and a lack of effective customer support. DoorDash has yet to issue a statement addressing these widespread complaints. The incident raises concerns about the reliability of the company's promotions and the effectiveness of their customer service channels.
