Højlund Speaks Out: Manchester United Future Confirmed Despite Inter Milan Links
Manchester United striker Rasmus Højlund has addressed speculation linking him with a move to Italian giants Inter Milan. Despite a contract that runs until 2028, with an option for a further year, Højlund's future at Old Trafford remains uncertain following a difficult first season in the Premier League where he managed just four goals in 32 appearances. However, speaking after playing in Denmark's 2-1 friendly victory over Northern Ireland on Saturday night, Højlund told TV2 Sport: "I have a contract until 2028, so I expect to play for Manchester United." The 22-year-old's transfer from Atalanta last August cost United a reported £64 million plus a further £8 million in potential add-ons. The club will be hoping for a significant improvement in his form next season.
