BRISTOL, UK – A hot air balloon collided with the roof of Oasis Academy Connaught, a primary school in the Knowle West area of Bristol, on Friday, the opening day of an international hot air balloon festival. The incident, captured on video, shows a large black balloon, bearing the "JLL" and "Daily Mail" logos, descending rapidly before its basket made contact with the school's roof. Witnesses reported seeing the basket tip as the pilot attempted to regain altitude by activating the burner. "It looked like the people were going to fall out," one witness described. There were no immediate reports of injuries or significant damage. The event occurred amidst the first day of the highly anticipated Bristol Balloon Fiesta.
