VIDEO Izvođači Splitskog festivala otkrili po čemu je za njih poseban
'Mislim da je njihov gubitak', osvrnuo se Jacques Houdek na činjenicu da ga ove godine ne prenosi HRT
Split, Croatia – The Split Festival once again brought a vibrant atmosphere to the city, with a special night dedicated to the legendary Đelo Jusić filling Prokurative Square. Performers Jacques Houdek, Ana Uršula Najev, and Ivo Amulić shared their experiences and upcoming summer activities with Dalmatinski portal. Jacques Houdek expressed his gratitude for being invited to perform at the festival, highlighting its legendary status. He emphasized the importance of the event's tradition and its contribution of anthological songs and artists to Croatian music. When asked about his summer plans, Houdek stated, "If at all possible, in the sea or in the pool. If the sea is not close, then the pool. The sea is still number one." Ivo Amulić, a two-time winner of the Split Festival, shared his fondest memories of the event. He also expressed concern about the festival's recent decline in quality, noting, "I am afraid that in the last few years, the festival has been going downhill, which is not good." He added that his only wish is for the two festivals, Melodije and Split, to eventually merge into one, returning to their former glory. Amulić also lamented the lack of HRT broadcast, saying, "I think it's a shame that HRT is not broadcasting it. Is that going to break the tradition, is the world going to stop? No. It's just one broadcast. I think it's their loss." Ana Uršula Najev noted that her summer is just beginning, filled with concerts and performances, but also includes time for herself. She mentioned being a bit under the weather but still enjoying the vibrant festival atmosphere with her family. Najev also reflected on the significance of the festival's venue and history, stating, "It's not easy to step onto this stage." The artists' insights provide a glimpse into the enduring legacy and current state of the cherished Split Festival.
