Dumpster divers hit jackpot with treasure trove of goods from college move-out:…
One TikToker showed off some of their college dorm's dumpster haul, including an electric water kettle and multiple vacuums.
During the recent college move-out season, a local individual documented a significant haul of discarded items from dumpsters, highlighting the volume of usable goods often thrown away by students. The video showcased a variety of finds, including an electric kettle, two Igloo coolers, and three framed New Yorker prints. Also recovered were a pink fuzzy chair, numerous brand new or barely used toiletries, two Shark vacuums, a Dyson vacuum, a pair of AirPods, a boucle ottoman, an inflatable alien, and a large quantity of organizational containers. This practice, often referred to as 'dumpster diving,' brings attention to consumer waste habits, particularly during periods of high turnover like university move-outs, and the potential for repurposing or reselling items that are still in good condition.
