False Bomb Threat Evacuates Hawaiian Airlines Flight in San Diego

A bomb threat on Hawaiian Airlines flight HA15 caused the evacuation of 283 passengers at San Diego International Airport on May 21, 2025. The threat, which turned out to be a hoax, prompted a massive response from law enforcement, including SWAT, K-9 units, the FBI, and the San Diego Fire Department. Airport spokesperson Brianne Mundy Page confirmed that a person was arrested and will face charges for making the false threat.
