Sweet Success: Entrepreneur Emma Expands Candy Business Beyond Lockdown Roots
In a delightful display of entrepreneurial spirit, Emma, known online as "Glow up by Emma," continues to grow her sweet shop business, "Candy Land Treats and Events." What began as a lockdown venture, initially called "The Box in Lockdown," has now evolved into a thriving enterprise. Emma recently showcased the meticulous process of packing a customer's order, featuring an array of popular American candies and snacks. "I've done this for a couple of months now, but basically it's like a sweet shop," Emma shared in her recent video. She highlighted her plans to expand beyond online sales to cater to events such as weddings and fairs, a vision that was put on hold during the pandemic. "That was the whole point of bringing this business back, is the fact that I was going to expand it," she explained. "Couldn't really do that in lockdown because nobody was getting married, no one was doing anything, were they?" The order, identified as number 2109, included a variety of treats: Ruffles Ketchup chips, Lay's Pizza Hut Margherita chips, Space Candy Mega Mix, Oreo Soft Cakes, Herr's Hot 'n Honey, Caramel Brownie and Vanilla Cow Tales, and a Capri Sun Pacific Cooler. Emma also hinted at future offerings, including chocolate, jelly, sour, and fizzy pick-and-mix options, along with color-themed mixes like pink, blue, and purple. Orders are dispatched via DPD for next-day delivery from Monday to Friday.
