Romanian artist Oana Radu recently clarified details surrounding a much-discussed celebration, confirming it was an engagement party and not a wedding. The announcement came in response to a follower's query, which she addressed directly in a video. Radu explained that the event was held to celebrate her partner Șerban's marriage proposal. "It was an engagement party, not a wedding," she stated, adding that the couple felt the need to celebrate the milestone, especially since they hadn't had time to fully enjoy the proposal itself. The celebration also included a spiritual element, with a priest offering a blessing. Radu emphasized that this was a personal blessing for their souls and not a formal religious service. "We simply wanted a priest to come and read a few lines, say some beautiful words, and give us a blessing," she explained. The blessing was given under the promise that the couple intends to marry in the near future, specifically next year. During the intimate gathering with family and close friends, Radu and Șerban exchanged rings as a symbol of their engagement. "It was something for our souls, with family and closest friends, and we also put on rings as a sign of engagement," she concluded, expressing gratitude for the well wishes received from her audience.
