From Bullying Victim to Inspirational Speaker: Marilou Shares Her Story with 20,000 at Share Festival

Barcelona, Spain – Marilou, a recent physiotherapy graduate, has transformed her four-year ordeal of university bullying into a powerful message of resilience and advocacy. Despite facing verbal abuse, including derogatory comments, and two physical assaults during her studies, Marilou persevered and completed her degree.Her desire to speak about her experiences at her graduation ceremony was initially unfulfilled. However, the Fate Club team, in collaboration with the NACE association, stepped in to ensure her voice was heard. They organized a series of surprises for Marilou, beginning with a celebratory limousine ride to her graduation, complete with a bouquet of flowers.The most impactful gesture came when Fate Club and NACE arranged for Marilou to deliver her speech at the recent Share Festival. Standing before an audience exceeding 20,000 people, Marilou shared her personal story of overcoming bullying, turning a painful past into a beacon of hope for others.A representative from Fate Club stated, "We wanted to ensure Marilou's story, which is an inspiration to all who suffer from bullying in universities, workplaces, or schools, was heard. She is not alone, and we want others to feel heard and supported."
