DS N°8 Electric Car Unveiled: Luxury, Long Range, and Advanced Features
Paris, France - DS Automobiles, the premium brand of Stellantis, has unveiled its latest electric vehicle, the DS N°8, promising a blend of luxury and impressive performance. The new model, measuring over 4.8 meters in length, boasts an aerodynamic design contributing to its extended range. The DS N°8 is equipped with a substantial 98 kWh battery, enabling it to achieve a range of up to 750 kilometers on a single charge. Its design emphasizes efficiency, allowing the vehicle to "melt through the air" and minimize energy consumption. Inside, the DS N°8 offers a luxurious and innovative cabin experience. Notable features include a distinctive four-spoke steering wheel, and highly comfortable seats that offer heating, ventilation, and massaging functions. A unique "Neck Warmer" system provides targeted warmth for occupants in colder conditions. While the infotainment screen is described as a standard Stellantis unit, compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the overall interior design is praised for its originality and successful execution. Rear passenger space, though somewhat constrained by the sloping roofline and underfloor battery placement, still offers adequate room. The vehicle also provides a generous 620-liter trunk, accessible via an electric tailgate. Regarding pricing, the DS N°8 starts at 59,200 euros for the version with 572 kilometers of autonomy. The 750-kilometer range variant is priced at 63,300 euros. For those seeking enhanced performance, a 4x4 version with a second rear motor delivers 320 horsepower and is available for 74,600 euros.
