Trial Begins for Paulo Cupertino in Rafael Miguel Murder Case

The trial of Paulo Cupertino, accused of the June 2019 murder of actor Rafael Miguel and his parents, commenced in São Paulo's Barra Funda Criminal Court. Cupertino's daughter provided emotional testimony, detailing a troubled relationship with her father, who disapproved of her relationship with the actor. "The relationship with my father was very difficult because he didn't accept my boyfriend," she stated. Security camera footage shown in court depicted the crime and Cupertino's subsequent escape.
