Get Away Car Fails, Foiling Drugstore Robbery in Belo Horizonte

A group of four individuals attempted to rob a drugstore in the Buritis neighborhood of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Their getaway car malfunctioned, forcing them to flee on foot. Employees and customers pursued the suspects, recording their escape on cell phones. The footage shows the suspects abandoning the car and running away. According to the police report, one woman distracted employees while a man collected cosmetics and diapers. A third suspect waited outside to receive the stolen goods. The car contained the stolen items, as well as groceries like meat and broccoli. The vehicle has been impounded. "They just ran away," said one eyewitness.
