Chauffage au bois : voici le prix du stère pour cet hiver
De plus en plus de ménages en France se tournent vers le bois, ce qui accentue la pression sur le marché et fait grimper les tarifs.
Wood heating is emerging as a significantly more economical alternative for households, according to a recent report. An expert interviewed in the segment highlighted the substantial cost savings, stating that wood heating is approximately two to three times cheaper than gas or fuel, and an impressive five times less expensive than electricity. This economic advantage positions wood as a compelling option for many seeking to reduce their energy bills. The expert also addressed environmental concerns, reassuring the public that the practice of heating homes with wood does not contribute to deforestation in France. For a typical household, the average cost for wood heating is estimated at 56 euros per stere, with an annual consumption of 10 steres, resulting in a total annual budget of 560 euros. The report also featured Paul Molinario, a wood supplier from 'les Sonnes,' who has been providing wood for fireplaces for over 30 years. Molinario emphasized the numerous advantages of wood heating but cautioned consumers to pay close attention to the quality of the wood they purchase to ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
