FSB Agent Targeting Ukrainian Military Arrested in Kharkiv
Kharkiv: SBU Captures FSB Agent Guiding Missile Strikes on Ukrainian Military. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced the arrest of a 32-year-old man in Kharkiv Oblast, accused of acting as an agent for the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB). The individual, an employee of a construction firm building command posts for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, allegedly provided geolocation data and engineering details to the enemy, enabling them to target these facilities with missile attacks. "The traitor was identified and detained at his place of residence," stated an SBU spokesperson. The SBU's cyber unit played a crucial role, uncovering the agent's communications with Russian occupiers. The detained individual faces life imprisonment under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed during wartime). This successful operation underscores the ongoing counter-intelligence efforts to protect Ukrainian military infrastructure.
