‘They once replaced my baby formula with vanilla protein powder’: Woman shares …
A New Jersey woman says that she can tell if her Instacart shopper is a man. Then she reveals three clues that tipped her off.
A consumer in Jersey City, identified as Nikki (holynicoley90 on TikTok), recently shared a video detailing her dissatisfying experience with an Instacart grocery delivery, which she attributed to her male shopper. According to Nikki, her order included a request for a cantaloupe, but she received a honeydew melon instead. She also reported receiving a bunch of bananas that were significantly overripe and bruised, requiring immediate consumption. "They're way too brown and bruised, they don't have time to ripen," she stated in her video, expressing concern about their short shelf life. The third point of contention involved a basil order. Nikki claimed she requested basil with an instruction for "best available replacement" if the item was out of stock. However, the shopper reported no basil was available and issued a refund. Nikki argued, "You didn't take your two eyes and look at the herb section, even in the organic section, even where there's a basil plant." She concluded her video by humorously inviting viewers to her "Ted Talk" on the subject, highlighting her frustration with the perceived lack of attention to detail during her grocery delivery.
