MINSK – A recent apartment inspection conducted by "House Inspector" at a newly constructed MAZID building on Geologicheskaya Street, 61a, has brought to light a series of significant construction defects. The findings, documented in a video that has garnered over 43,000 views, reveal issues ranging from cracked window panes to water damage on ceilings and walls. The inspection report highlighted several critical flaws. "We found cracks, chips, and scratches on the double-glazed windows and PVC profiles," stated the inspector in the video, pointing out visible damage. Further issues included "traces of flooding on the ceilings and walls," indicating potential water ingress problems. The video also showed "poorly secured door frames and architraves," attributed to localized foaming during installation. One commenter, reflecting a common sentiment, remarked, "These are minor issues compared to Minsk Mir... This is nothing!" Another user questioned, "What year is the house? MAZID hasn't glued wallpaper to the ceiling for a long time," suggesting a potential discrepancy in construction practices or age of the building. The issue of quality versus speed was also raised: "What are you waiting for when everyone is shouting DEADLINES DEADLINES DEADLINES?! Quality and quantity go different ways!" Additionally, the inspection identified an uneven floor level, with the living room floor being 8mm lower than the corridor, and damaged skirting boards. The video underscores the importance of thorough inspections for new property owners to identify and address such deficiencies before moving in.
