Two Serious Traffic Accidents Disrupt Montenegro: One Fatality, One Critical Injury On June 7th, 2025, Montenegro experienced two serious traffic accidents. The first occurred near Niksic, resulting in the death of a driver involved in a collision between a car and a truck. The second accident took place in Bar, where a train struck a Nissan X-Trail at a level crossing. The passenger suffered severe injuries and was transported to a clinical center in Podgorica. "We arrived at the scene and saw a terrible accident," said Srdan Petrovic, a motorcyclist who witnessed the Niksic accident. "Traffic was stopped for hours." Both accidents caused significant traffic delays. Investigations are underway to determine the exact causes of the accidents.
