During an interview, Skornicki revealed the emotional depth required for her role, stating, "I even cried alone in my room while reading the script multiple times." She emphasized that the extensive reading and workshop sessions, lasting over a month, were crucial for her to fully embody the character of Sari. "We only used the real gamelan music during takes," she explained, adding that the sound was "more beautiful than I imagined."
