Man buys house, then notices mysterious window to room he "can't find"
Jason Murtagh told Newsweek he bought his house a year ago, but only in the last six months has he begun to uncover its secrets.
A new homeowner in the United States has captivated online audiences with his discovery of a mysterious hidden room within his recently acquired property. The man, who shares his findings under the username Jaystyle X, initially noticed an exterior window on his house that appeared to have no corresponding interior access. His investigation began with a small, framed access panel on an interior wall, which, to his surprise, only revealed solid concrete. Undeterred, he turned his attention to a large wooden dresser that was inexplicably nailed to a wall in his basement. The dresser's drawers were also found to be non-functional. Upon closer inspection, Jaystyle X discovered a narrow, dark gap behind the dresser. This concealed opening appears to lead directly into the secret room, providing the long-sought access to the mysterious exterior window. The unusual nature of the discovery has drawn comparisons to fictional hidden passages, sparking widespread interest among viewers.
