INFANTA, QUEZON – The waters of Brgy. Dinahican, Infanta, Quezon Province, came alive on June 10, 2025, with the vibrant Dinahican Fluvial Parade. This annual tradition serves as a dual celebration: honoring the Feast of Patron Saint Veronica and offering thanksgiving for the community's abundant fishing harvest. Numerous fishing boats, meticulously decorated with colorful banners, balloons, and traditional adornments, paraded across the sea, creating a spectacular display. Onboard, community members, including local officials and religious figures, participated in the festivities. Vlogger Joyce Glorioso, known as "Banana Queen," was among the special guests, serving as a judge for the "Best Boat Design" competition. Sharing her experience, Glorioso remarked, "It felt like being in a movie while riding the boat during the parade." She also highlighted the hospitality, noting the availability of local treats like "pandesal" and coffee for participants. The event commenced in the morning at the Dinahican Fish Port, drawing a large crowd of spectators eager to witness the colorful procession and partake in the joyous atmosphere. The parade concluded with a celebration at a local bar, further cementing the community's festive spirit.
