Lucky Florida Woman Buys 1-Cent Dress and Gets Harassed By Company Over Pricing…
A Florida woman managed to buy a dress from a company for only one cent after a pricing mistake and the company then harassed her.
A recent online shopping incident involving clothing retailer Aritzia has sparked public discussion after a customer, Julianna, shared her experience on social media. Julianna claims she purchased two dresses from Aritzia's website, one of which was mistakenly listed for 1 cent. She successfully completed the purchase, including shipping fees, and received one of the dresses. However, the second dress was not delivered. According to Julianna, Aritzia subsequently contacted her, demanding the return of the 1-cent dress, citing a pricing error. She alleges that the company has since "harassed" her with daily emails and phone calls, despite her not initiating any return request. Julianna also reported unhelpful and rude interactions with Aritzia's customer service representatives, both over the phone and in person, when she inquired about the undelivered dress and the return demands. "It doesn't matter to me if it must have been an error on their end, but it was priced at one cent and it went into my cart and I went to checkout and everything went accordingly," Julianna stated in her video. She added, "Any multi-million dollar company like Aritzia, if they make an error on their end, that's not a problem for the consumer." The incident has led Julianna to declare she will no longer shop at Aritzia and has prompted other social media users to share similar experiences with pricing errors and consumer rights.
