Gomel Hot Water Shut-Off Schedule Changed Due to Weather Conditions Gomel, Belarus – May 17, 2025 – Due to unforeseen weather conditions, the scheduled hot water shut-offs in Gomel have been altered. The city administration announced the changes affecting several districts. Initially, the shut-off schedule was as follows: Novobelichy district (May 26 - June 7), Sovetsky district (June 9 - June 21), Zheleznodorozhny district and part of Tsentralny district (July 7 - July 19), and Tsentralny district (July 21 - August 2). However, due to the recent severe weather, the schedule for the Selmash district has been changed. Hot water will now be shut off in Selmash from August 4th to August 16th. "The unexpected weather conditions forced us to make adjustments to the schedule to ensure the safety and efficiency of the maintenance work," stated a representative from the city's water utility. The remaining districts will remain on the original schedule. Residents are advised to check the updated schedule on the city's official website for the most accurate information.
