Ljubljana, Slovenia – Dejan Kaloh, a Member of Parliament and founder of the Suvereni party, has publicly endorsed "Program Svit," a national screening program, emphasizing the critical importance of men's health. In a recent video, Kaloh, who turned 50 this year, shared his personal decision to participate in the program, stating, "As a Member of Parliament who turned 50 this year, I also joined 'Program Svit' due to responsibility for my own health." Kaloh highlighted the broader implications of individual health choices, linking them to a sense of duty towards the community. "This is, of course, connected to responsibility towards the people I serve," he explained. He passionately urged all men to prioritize their health, specifically mentioning prostate health, and to overcome any reluctance regarding medical examinations. "The point is not that you neglect your own health because you don't want to go for a check-up of your backsides, but that you take care of your health so that you live long for your families, for your children," Kaloh asserted. He concluded his message with a call to action: "So, let Svit be for a healthy backside." The politician's message aims to encourage preventative health measures among the male population, promoting early detection and overall well-being.
