
Teen Driver Dies in 220 km/h Crash into House; Friends Say He Was 'Counting His Days' on Instagram
An 18-year-old driver has died after his car crashed into a house, with the speedometer reportedly stuck at 220 km/h. The tragic incident, captured on CCTV, shows the white vehicle failing to negotiate a turn before impacting the residence. Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, where the car was found severely damaged and embedded in the house. Residents expressed shock and fear, with one stating, "They came with such speed, it's unbearable. We can't even go to the shop anymore." Friends of the deceased, identified as Darius, revealed he had received the car as a gift in May. One friend, Bogdan Vida, mentioned, "On Instagram, he was always counting his days, and when we asked more, he would say it was a pleasant surprise." Another friend, Alexandru Brânză, added, "He had family problems, and he had a problem with a girl. The last time we saw each other, we were all crying tears of happiness, but he had extra tears."
