'Superman' Star Drops New Movie Spoilers
During a recent talk show appearance, one of the stars of "Superman" dropped some new spoilers about the Man of Steel and Lois Lane.
In a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Rachel Brosnahan, set to portray Lois Lane in the upcoming 'Superman' film, offered new details about the highly anticipated movie. Brosnahan confirmed that the film will depart from the traditional origin story, instead presenting Superman and Lois Lane as already established journalists at the Daily Planet. "James didn't want to do the same origin story that we're so familiar with," Brosnahan stated, referring to director James Gunn. "We start with them already established in the world. Clark is a journalist at the Daily Planet." She further elaborated on the relationship between the iconic duo, noting, "There's some love in the air. They're at the point in their relationship where they're trying to figure out if this was just a fling or if this is a forever thing." Brosnahan also highlighted the contrasting personalities of the characters, stating, "They're really, really different. They have totally opposite worldviews. She's somebody who prides herself on being ten steps ahead of everyone at any given moment. And he's somebody who's radically present and in the moment." This dynamic, she explained, leads to them "working it out in real time when we meet them in this movie." These insights from Brosnahan provide a fresh perspective on the upcoming 'Superman' film, promising a new chapter for the beloved characters.
