Alarm ignoriert? Pflegerinnen wegen TikTok-Live freigestellt
Krankenschwestern, die während ihrer Nachtschicht auf TikTok live gingen, sorgten für Aufruhr. Einige von ihnen wurden freigestellt.
Dortmund, Germany – A local content creator, known as Kevinits, has publicly announced he is being sued by three nurses from Hüttenhospital in Dortmund. The lawsuit stems from Kevinits' previous videos where he exposed the nurses for allegedly live-streaming from an intensive care unit, an act he claims endangered patients and violated data protection laws.In a recent video, Kevinits expressed his frustration with the legal action, stating, "I'm just fed up." He highlighted his background in nursing, emphasizing his commitment to patient welfare. He criticized the nurses for reportedly hiring a prominent law firm, suggesting the funds could have been used more responsibly.Kevinits vowed to fight the lawsuit, acknowledging the potential financial implications, which he estimates could amount to 9,000 Euros in the first instance and up to 20,000 Euros if it proceeds to a second instance. He reiterated his belief that patients were actively endangered by the live streams and urged healthcare professionals to choose different careers if they prioritize entertainment over patient safety. The case raises questions about professional conduct, patient privacy, and the use of social media within healthcare settings.
