
Belarus and Interpol Strengthen Ties in Fight Against Transnational Crime
MINSK, BELARUS – May 13, 2025 – Belarusian Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov held a working meeting today with Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, President of Interpol, in the United Arab Emirates. The meeting focused on cooperation in combating transnational crime. Kubrakov thanked Al Raisi for Interpol's support of Belarus and its contribution to strengthening international police collaboration. "Despite the fact that some countries are hindering this process," Kubrakov stated, "we are seeing real progress in operational cooperation against serious crimes, including terrorism, drug trafficking, and cybercrime." Al Raisi, in turn, praised the strong relationship between Interpol and Belarus. The meeting underscores the commitment of both entities to enhance international security and law enforcement collaboration.
