A recent viral video shared by a woman identified as Ku'uipo Dawn has captivated online audiences with a chilling discovery made during her stay at an Airbnb. The video, uploaded on June 23, 2025, shows Dawn and her mother uncovering a mysterious wooden trapdoor located directly beneath a bed in their rental property. Upon lifting one of the floorboards, the duo revealed a metal latch and were immediately met with a foul odor. The daughter, visibly unsettled, expressed concerns about what might be hidden beneath, even jokingly suggesting a 'dead body.' Her mother, equally disturbed, urged caution. Faced with the unsettling discovery and an unpleasant smell, the pair decided against fully opening the trapdoor. Instead, they opted for a unique solution to ensure their safety during their remaining stay. They strategically moved the bed and placed their suitcases and a chair directly on top of the trapdoor, effectively barricading it. According to Dawn, her husband, a police officer, suggested the odor could indicate mold or something more sinister. The women plan to open the trapdoor fully on their last day at the Airbnb before checking out, promising an update to their followers.
