STILLWATER, OK – A rare sighting of a mountain lion has been confirmed near Stillwater, Oklahoma, following the release of trail camera footage captured on October 16, 2025. The video, originally recorded by local resident Tara Little, shows the elusive big cat moving through an area outside Stillwater, specifically identified as being near Lake Carl Blackwell and the Bass Masters area. Meteorologist Lacey Swope shared the footage, urging the public to review their own surveillance and trail cameras for any additional glimpses of the animal. "This was taken outside of Stillwater near Lake Carl Blackwell.
