La síndrome de les cames inquietes: un problema que afecta el descans
Dormir bé s'ha tornat tot un repte
Madrid, Spain – A recent online video by content creator 'La Hiperactina' has shed light on Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS), a condition that disrupts sleep for many. The creator, who identifies as a biomedicine enthusiast, shared her personal struggle with RLS, describing the irresistible urge to move her legs, particularly when trying to relax or sleep. This sensation, she explained, often manifests as tingling, discomfort, or involuntary contractions. According to La Hiperactina, RLS is a real neurological condition, not an exaggeration. It tends to activate precisely when individuals are at rest, whether in bed, on a sofa, or even during travel. She noted that while some causes, such as anemia or iron deficiency, are known, other cases remain idiopathic. In her video, the creator offered a practical tip for managing the discomfort: applying cold to the affected legs. She described how she uses a fan in summer or exposes her feet to the cold in winter to find temporary relief. While emphasizing that this is not a cure, she stated that it helps calm the sensations. The video aims to raise awareness and provide comfort to others experiencing similar symptoms, assuring them that they are not alone.
