Trump Labels Major News Outlets 'Scum' Over Military Coverage
In a recent address, former U.S. President Donald Trump launched a strong critique against several prominent news organizations, including CNN, MSNBC (referred to as MSDNC), and The New York Times. Speaking about a military operation, Mr. Trump lauded the efforts as an "unbelievable hit" executed by "genius pilots" and "genius people in the military." However, he expressed deep dissatisfaction with the media's portrayal of the event. "They're not being given credit for it because we have scum that's in this group," Trump stated, referring to the news outlets. He continued, "CNN is scum. MSDNC is scum. The New York Times is scum. They're bad people. They're sick." Mr. Trump accused these media entities of attempting to diminish what he described as an "unbelievable victory" into "something less." He added that even these organizations "admit that it was hit very hard," but insisted it was "hit brutally" and "knocked it out." The former president's remarks underscore his ongoing contentious relationship with segments of the press.
