La DGT multará este verano a quienes tengan esto en el retrovisor de su coche
Aunque pueda parecer inofensivo, llevar cualquier elemento colgado del retrovisor puede acarrear sanciones
A recent video circulating online highlights a little-known but significant traffic regulation in Spain that could lead to fines for drivers. According to the video, individuals hanging objects such as air fresheners or crucifixes from their rearview mirrors risk a €200 penalty from the DGT (Dirección General de Tráfico). The content creator, known as Lawtips, explains that Article 19 of the General Traffic Regulation stipulates that the vehicle's glass surface must at all times allow clear visibility of the road without interference from films or adhesives. While the regulation does not specify the exact size of objects that can be hung, it leaves the interpretation to the discretion of the traffic agent. Drivers are advised to exercise extreme caution to avoid obstructing their view and incurring unexpected fines.
