K-Pop Music Producer Exposes Negative Experience With "Petty" Female Idol Dubbe…
K-Pop Songwriter and producer Alex Karlsson sparked speculations after revealing his negative experience working with a "petty" female idol.
Seoul, South Korea - Music industry professional Alex Karlsson has recently shared a candid account of a challenging experience involving a K-pop idol during a studio recording session. Karlsson, who has spent years working his way up in the K-pop industry, described the idol as "the worst person ever" and "petty on a level I'd never seen before." According to Karlsson, the idol arrived at the studio refusing to engage directly with the production team, instead having her assistant manager handle all introductions and communications. She reportedly avoided eye contact and would not speak to anyone. The situation escalated when, after three hours of recording, the idol entered the studio and demanded a more comfortable chair to "relax and get into the song." After rejecting a standard, high-quality office chair, the CEO's personal chair had to be retrieved from the fourth floor and brought down to the studio. Despite these extraordinary accommodations, the idol reportedly disliked the track and ultimately never released the album, rendering the entire production a "waste of time" for Karlsson and his team. Years later, Karlsson found a measure of closure when a bandmate of the idol offered an unexpected apology, stating, "I can only imagine what that experience was like. I'm so sorry you had to go through that." This apology, Karlsson noted, brought "some healing in the end," suggesting the difficult experience was not personal.
