El error que cometen miles de conductores y que puede costarte hasta 200 euros:…
Aunque el coche siga siendo la opción más común para transportarse, muchos usuarios desconocen estas infracciones comunes
Madrid, Spain – The Spanish traffic authority, DGT, is reinforcing regulations regarding the safe transport of luggage within vehicles, particularly focusing on items carried in rear passenger seats. Legalcar Abogados, a law firm specializing in traffic accidents, recently highlighted the significant risks and penalties associated with unsecured cargo. According to the firm, placing luggage on rear seats without proper securing is considered a serious traffic infraction, carrying a fine of €200. This regulation aims to mitigate the dangers posed by the "elephant effect," a phenomenon where the force of an unsecured object can multiply up to 40 times its original weight during a collision, even at speeds as low as 50 km/h. Such an impact can cause severe injury or death to vehicle occupants. Experts advise drivers to utilize designated cargo spaces, such as the car's trunk, or external solutions like roof boxes, trailers, or bicycle racks, to ensure all luggage is safely stowed. This practice not only helps avoid fines but, more importantly, enhances the safety of all passengers by preventing objects from becoming dangerous projectiles in the event of sudden braking or an accident.
