In a recent video, Arnold explained her decision, emphasizing that her current focus remains on her family and children. "My reasons for that haven't really changed," Arnold stated, referring to her previous breaks from the show. "It is currently just better for me to be home with my family. My girls have so many things going on this fall, and it's so exciting." She detailed her daughters' extensive dance commitments, including one starting on a new team, doing more days of dance a week, a solo, and ballroom lessons, while another is also continuing dance and potentially starting preschool. Arnold also clarified a common misconception among fans regarding professional dancers' participation in DWTS. "I am not being asked to come back. The producers are not reaching out to me and I'm turning them down," she explained, adding that if she wished to return, she would need to express that interest, and even then, a spot would not be guaranteed. "It's going to be a very, very, very big decision for me and my family one day if we decide to do that." In a more personal revelation, Arnold shared her recent decision to remove her IUD. She expressed feeling ready for this step, stating, "Let's take it out and let my body regulate." However, the procedure encountered a minor setback when the strings could not be located, necessitating a follow-up appointment with her OB. Despite the frustration, she views it as a step forward. Further family news included her sister, Brynley, officially becoming a nurse practitioner and working alongside their father in a family practice. Arnold concluded by reiterating her love for DWTS but prioritizing her current phase of life with her children. "I just know that I will miss this phase of life with my girls a million times more than I could ever miss that," she said.
