Dublin, Ireland – Attendees at the recent Oasis concert at Croke Park on August 17, 2025, reported significant delays and organizational challenges during entry. One concert-goer, Louise O’Toole, described the situation as an "absolute disaster," stating that she and others waited for an hour to receive wristbands for pitch standing. "An hour of this while waiting to get our wristbands for pitch standing," read the on-screen text in a video shared by O'Toole, capturing the dense crowds outside the venue. Comments on the video reflected a divided experience among concert-goers. While some corroborated O'Toole's account, citing issues with long queues for entry, bars, and even women's restrooms, others reported a smooth and easy entry process. One attendee commented, "We had absolutely no issues was really smooth getting in and getting drinks and then getting onto pitch. I’m assuming you left it late?" Another added, "We got to Croke Park at around 5:15 and were straight through to front standing and managed to get barrier on right side near the exit!" However, other comments echoed the frustration: "Such poor organisation in premium level. Bars were so overwhelmed the queues were over 3/4 hr. Disaster." and "No women's toilets for pitch standing either. had to walk all the way back outside just to go toilet and go through it all again. absolute nightmare." MCD Productions and Croke Park officials have not yet issued a public statement regarding the reported organizational issues.
